SHORT ANSWER

Axiomyx Personal indexes supported files and folders you choose on your Windows 11 PC or Mac. Your originals and the derived evidence index stay in the storage boundary you control. When you use the Axiomyx connection, ChatGPT can request relevant, read-only evidence and receive source details instead of requiring you to upload the entire collection into every conversation.

This is useful when the documents you need are spread across project folders, an external drive or a cloud-synced folder that is visible to your computer. You decide which locations participate; Axiomyx does not automatically open the rest of the device.

    Install Personal

    Install the Free edition from the Microsoft Store or Mac App Store. Free supports up to 500 MB of active evidence.

    Choose files or a folder

    Add only the supported sources you want Axiomyx to index. Unselected folders remain outside the evidence boundary.

    Build the evidence layer

    Axiomyx canonicalises selected content, creates structural addresses, indexes it and retains source provenance.

    Connect and ask

    Where the current connector is available, approve ChatGPT's code in Axiomyx and ask for findings with their sources.

LIMITATIONS

What this does not promise.

  • Current Personal releases support PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, JSON, Markdown and text files, with a current per-file limit of 50 MiB.
  • The published ChatGPT setup guide currently covers the Mac connector flow; Windows connection options can differ.
  • Axiomyx Premium removes the Axiomyx evidence quota, not your hardware limits or the model's finite context window.
